Last week, the VIBROLAB-5 vibration measuring and balancing system, developed and manufactured by ENSET, was authorised for release into circulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The authorisation was granted on the basis of recognition of the test results and type approval of the measuring instrument. Registration allows the system to be used officially in applications subject to state metrological control, provided all applicable requirements are met.
The system is officially listed in the Register of the State System for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan under registration no. KZ.02.03.024561-2026/97688-26.
A key advantage is the three-year verification interval, which directly reduces operating costs for industrial companies: verifications are required less frequently, equipment downtime is reduced and metrological maintenance is easier to plan.
The VIBROLAB-5 measuring system is the latest generation of the popular VIBROLAB vibration measurement system. It is designed to serve as the measuring and control system for hard-bearing and soft-bearing balancing machines, as well as for high-speed balancing and overspeed test rigs. In this latest version, ENSET engineers have significantly improved the metrological characteristics and expanded the dynamic measurement range.
VIBROLAB-5 is available in all-in-one and modular-chassis configurations. Its advanced technology delivers high accuracy and ease of operation. Key advantages include:
- Intuitive interface. The fully touchscreen-based operator interface is designed to eliminate user error. Controls are kept as simple as possible, while the system workflow reflects the real-world tasks performed by production personnel.
- Process and results monitoring. A built-in workpiece database and a complete history of every balancing operation allow users to track each stage of workpiece processing, maintain an archive of results and revisit previous measurements whenever required.
- Flexible data output. The balancing report can be printed, saved to a USB storage device or transferred over a network.
- Powerful unbalance correction tools. The system includes programs for calculating and implementing corrections by drilling, milling or grinding, or by adding correction weights along an arc or at fixed angular positions dictated by the rotor geometry.
- Multi-plane balancing. VIBROLAB-5 supports balancing in multiple planes, including the balancing of quasi-flexible and flexible rotors. This broadens the range of applications and enables the system to handle a wide variety of rotors and workpieces.
- Integration into production processes. The system is compatible with automated rotor identification and marking systems, unbalance correction systems (including CNC-controlled systems) and robotic handling systems, allowing the system to be integrated into automated production lines.
- Robust protection. The operating system and software are protected against failures, malware, network attacks, external interference and improper actions by untrained personnel, ensuring stable operation and data integrity.
- Ready for Industry 4.0. VIBROLAB-5 integrates readily with SCADA, MES and ERP systems, enabling production digitalisation and the development of end-to-end process chains.
The authorisation of the VIBROLAB-5 measuring system for release into circulation in Kazakhstan marks an important step in expanding ENSET’s presence in the international market. The company’s customer base in the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to grow steadily, as do exports of high-precision balancing machines.
This demonstrates that the Kazakh market has already recognised the quality and precision of ENSET’s balancing equipment. Customers see tangible benefits in adopting modern solutions and trust technologies that deliver high productivity and reliable production processes.
